Our First Christmas on Cloud 9
As 2014 draws to a close, it is a time to reflect on the year as we prepare for the future. For many, a new year is refreshing as it offers up the chance to turn over a new leaf, start a new chapter and learn from the previous year’s events. This time of year is particularly special not because of the commercial aspects of Christmas but because of the warmth and kindness people demonstrate to one another, there is a definite togetherness during these holidays that I adore.
We have been running a Christmas tree competition on Twitter, asking followers to send in their Christmas tree photos, and it is heart-warming to see families working together and giving their all to decorate their trees. We ran this competition for ourselves as much as we did for our followers, as it is a fun time of year and one to enjoy with your loved ones.
This year has been a very memorable one. Although time seems to go faster the older you get, it does feel like it has been a very long year. With our August launch, the amount of preparatory work that goes in to launching a skincare brand is almost immeasurable. Whenever you bring anything new to the world, whether it’s a piece of art or a skin treatment, it is always an anxious moment when the public gets to sample your work. Even if you are fully confident that your work is excellent, you can never be sure of how something will be received. For that reason we have been delighted with how well our Cloud 9 Skin Solutions launch has gone.
In terms of recognition there are three levels of appreciation that gives us a huge lift for 2015. First and foremost, customer feedback has been positive. We have received some touching feedback from customers, who have said that our products have improved their appearance and their standard of living. Nothing can be more touching as far as I’m concerned and it is why we launched Cloud 9. One example that sticks in my mind is a customer who thanked us because our Varicose Vein Treatment made it possible for him to hike again as it soothed his sore veins. Huge thank you to everyone who has both tried our range, and those that took time to leave their feedback.
Another highlight of the year has been our interaction with the blogging community. In most cases, I have spoken to bloggers directly and it has been such a pleasant experience from start to finish. We have yet to receive anything but positive comments from very respected and experienced bloggers, and it is another reason why we are cheerful this Christmas. When lovers of skincare and beauty tell you that you’re doing something right, it gives you a lot of pride and confidence.
Finally, just one month after launching we were recognised by the Pure Beauty panel, who shortlisted three of our products for their respected annual awards. The awards took place in October and to have won two Bronze awards was simply a dream come true for any new brand. All in all, we are thankful for all of the feedback, your votes and the support that we have experienced so far.
Next year is an important year for Cloud 9 Skin Solutions, as we hope to make our range more readily available to customers by working with the finest retailers. Our first Christmas is fast approaching, and this post was simply a means of sharing our first year with you, and also an opportunity to say thank you to everyone, who has contributed and supported us this year. We appreciate it and we will see you in 2015.
